I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PJT Partners (London, England)
Interview
Two first round phone interviews back to back with different members of the team.
One interview was competency and motivational based, the other was technical. Each lasted 30 minutes
If successful at this point, you are invited to a super day consisting of 3 competency interviews and one technical interview.
Not your typical technicals such as walk me through DCF but more conceptual and scenario-based technicals.

Question 1
Why PJT?
What did you do in your previous internship?
Why did you choose that company to acquire? (For an IBD challenge I did)
Quite technical, they asked a lot of restructuring questions. Make sure you prepare for those. I had 3 interviews: one behavioural, one technical, and one basically a personality check with one of the MDs
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PJT Partners (New York, NY) in Aug 2025
Interview
First round was phone screening. Relatively easy. Next round was simple interview with mix of behavioral and technical. Super day was the hardest. Technical questions included financial statement but also scenario based questions which were hard.
