I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PDI Software (Temple, TX) in Feb 2013
Interview
I spoke with a consulting manager as well as the Vice President of Consulting. They asked about specialties, skills, and other technical abilities. They also wanted to make sure that I was comfortable working with people and traveling as that is required for the position. I also met with the CEO of the company and discussed values and ethics.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PDI Software (Temple, TX) in May 2016
Interview
I have an initial online interview in which my answers were recorded and reviewed afterwards by PDI. The process was very easy to do and something I think many companies would benefit from vs a regular phone interview. I was then brought in for a half-day interview in which I met with two Consulting Managers, the VP of Professional Services, and the VP of Human Resources. It was a welcoming atmosphere, everyone was friendly, open and honest and it was a blend of seeing where I qualify and then helping me understand the job and company better; two way street.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no curve ball questions; had questions on experience, projects I've completed, ways I've consulted before. Plenty of dialogue and ice breakers (last movie I saw)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PDI Software (Temple, TX) in Jan 2016
Interview
Spoke with every consulting manager including Professional Services Vice President, ranging in interviewing techniques. The questions ranged trying to figure out social cues to understanding how you handle stress.
