Submitted my resume online for an Embedded Software Engineer position calling for 0-2 years experience (I had one year), within a couple days I received an email to schedule a phone interview. Scheduled the phone interview for a day or two later. During the call they mainly asked basic work history questions, my experience, education, etc. At the end of the phone interview the interviewer said some guy was going to email me and schedule a face-to-face interview. A guy contacted me within a couple days, and a week later I went in for an interview.
I went to the interview in dress pants and a dress shirt, but the interviewers (there were three) had sport coats and ties. The guys who did the interview seemed down to earth and chill. Most of the questions were pretty standard: why's, what would you do's, work history, experience, and projects. There was only one technical question. Interview took an hour and I thought it went well. I felt it hit a bump when they asked me about compensation.
