Ownership called me in for a face to face after a brief interview by phone. The President of the company, along with the 3 owners discussed my work history and my approach to problem-solving and people management. They also spent a great deal of time discussing non-business related topics to determine if my character an personality would be a good fit. They made it clear that I could manage the operations side of the business as I saw fit provided sales issues remained in their control. After 3 hours, they released me and told me they would contact me the next day.
