Oxfam America. I was invited to two phone screens, first with HR and then with the team lead. It was straightforward and simple, though it honestly felt like it could have been just one screen since it was the same format for both. They ran through the specifics of the team and job, then asked me to describe my background.
I'm a little annoyed at what felt like a lack of effort on their part. The first email I received from HR for the first screen had all kinds of typos, and for the second screen, they didn’t even bother to update their generic invite template. The email literally said, "Dear [candidate name]" and, "you're invited to a second screen for the [job title] position." Then the team lead for the second screen showed up late to our interview.
As someone who takes the time to tailor every application and prepare before each interview, it felt like a bit of a slap in the face.
