      Software Engineer Interview

      24 Jun 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 4 days. I interviewed at OwnerIQ

      Interview

2 phone calls and then an onsite. Multiple people onsite and a "technical portion", ghosted afterwards. Pros: They asked questions that were reasonable/practical and none of the questions came across as niche information gotten from a medium article that you would only know if you read that exact article. Cons: They were re-hiring due to layoffs, I wasn't told this until the onsite One of the interviewers were very rude/not at all engaged, gave little/to no feedback, ignored questions. Technical portion was not setup at all (did not render). I was given 5-10 minutes to solve 5+ questions that required complex state/props management (easy questions to do but basically impossible to do in that timeframe)
