      Sales Manager Interview

      14 May 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Princeton, NJ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Owner.com (Princeton, NJ) in Mar 2025

      Interview

The interview process felt like a collaboration from the start. Everyone I spoke with was interested in making sure that it was a great fit. The company has an incredible culture, and it was important and it was clearly important that maintaining that is a huge priority. I had a screen, a manager interview, a case study, and then an executive interview.

      Interview

As far as interview processes go this one was world class! All of the people involved were incredibly accommodating and made the process frictionless! Having been in the market for a couple of months, this was a breath of fresh air. Don't get me wrong, it is a tough process! Owner has done an AMAZING job of setting and holding themselves to an incredibly high standard. This interview process just shows exactly how committed they are to continuing to hire the best people. And even though there were a few assessments along the way, they were fun and challenging and honestly refreshing!

      Sales Manager Interview

      8 Feb 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Owner.com

      Interview

If I had to choose one word, thorough. As a sales manager, it gave me new perspective on how I should hire people onto my team. In the past, I always felt that I welcomed people onto my team without enough research. As a result, hiring was one of my weak points. Going through the interview process here helped me to understand what it's like to truly test a candidate through case studies, meeting 5 different team members, and having a total of about a dozen conversations. Hiring should be more of a methodical waltz, not a salsa (I hope that's the right analogy). All that said, it helped Owner make the right choice in hiring me, and it helped me make the right choice in joining Owner.
