I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Overhaul (TX) (Austin, TX) in Aug 2023
Interview
From the first conversation with Richard their recruiter, it was a great experience. He was transparent and very communicative. The interview process was tough but intentional. They really wanted the person to take this role to fully understand what the role was. It was a "traditional" CSM role. They asked great questions, very relevant to the job. I was very excited to have a chance to interview with them and get all the way to the end. They are clearly the leader in their industry. Process: Hiring Manager Interview Direct Report Interview Panel presentation with 3 key stakeholders that this position would directly interact with. They were all so amazing and welcoming. I did not feel like I was being set up with any "gotcha" questions. They really wanted to get to know me and what I could bring to the role. In the end someone with relevant experience in shipping and logistics was selected for the position. My experience is primarily in healthcare, so I fully understood their decision. This company is serious, and if you are not a serious candidate don't apply.

Interview
I only made it to the initial phone screen, but Richard was easy to chat with and I learned a lot about Overhaul, what the role entailed, and the history of the company.

Interview
The interview process itself was great. I had a panel zoom interview with four members of the organization and the team was friendly and engaging. But the recruiter was unresponsive after the interview. I understand that I might not be a right fit for the team, but communicating the decision or responding to a followup seems missing. Ghosting the candidate sets a bad precedence and a reflection on the culture!
