I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Outsight in Nov 2022
Interview
I applied on the outsight website. I then got contacted by the HR department to schedule the first screening interview. The HR employee did not show up to the first meeting he scheduled so I sent him an email to ask what was going on. Despite being active on LinkedIn and seeing my message he took two days to reply. Once the screening was rescheduled, The interviewer apologized without further explanation and then asked me classic questions about my previous experiences and why I want to move on from my current company. After the screening, HR scheduled a technical interview for which I was asked to prepare a 15 minutes presentation with slides about a project I made in the past. At the technical interview, the interviewers were: - Not aware that I prepared a presentation and asked me instead to present my resume point by point. - Did not know for which position I was applying. During my resume presentation, the interviewers asked very precise questions about minor achievements within their area of competence but did not demonstrate enough technical breadth to discuss the major achievements of the resume. There was no coding question. 3 days later I received an automated rejection message which was not in the language we used to communicate by email. The entire process gave me the impression that Outsight has very little respect for the time invested by their candidates. The entire experience felt like a red flag waved at me.
