      Help Desk Technician Interview

      10 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Outdoor Research in Jun 2025

      Interview

The interview process was ok, HR made it sound like they were really needing someone to hire and asked how quickly I could start, I said 2 weeks. I got through the initial interview, and then got the rejection letter. Its funny because I have multiple years of the skills they're asking for in the job description and yet I still get TWO different emails saying TWO different things. "At this time, we have chosen to proceed with another candidate who has more experience that aligns with what we are looking for" and " As you can imagine we have had many interested candidates in this position and at this time, we're continuing to search for candidates that fit the roles needs closer." I would say this company is looking for "unicorn" employees, that match every box but they can pay the bare minimum. $60k in Seattle is a joke and all the other comments on here saying the pay is bad are correct.
