I applied online. I interviewed at Outback Steakhouse in Jul 2012
Interview
I applied online to be a hostess and about 3 weeks later received a phone call to set up an interview. The interview was held during the time before the restaurant opened so it was pretty much just me and the manager. After asking a few typical questions the manager launched right into the duties of a hostess/what is expected and asked what questions I had. After he answered the few questions I had he offered me the job! I think they just look to see if you are friendly and energetic!

Question 1
Experiência , sobre vc , condução, disponibilidade
Really easy, genuine conversation, sat down with a few different managers and answered some basic questions. They are really welcoming and offer you something to drink. There is a culture there that is different (in a positive way) from other chains which speaks to their operational efficiency and dedication to hiring and retaining strong team members.

Interview
I was sat in the corner by a server, and told a manager would be right with me. I sat for 25 minutes and no one came to me. I decided to leave, and there was no one even in sight to tell.
