Casual high-level technical experience . “Describe a project when”, all that typical stuff. No leet code, but the normal system design overview and what not. What stood out is the interviewers didn’t just stare blankly at me like most tech interviews.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OurFamilyWizard (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
It was as expected. I met with HR, then the hiring manager, and then two coworkers from adjacent teams. I found the questions reasonable and on par with other companies' rigor.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my background working with family-focused brands and/or experience with mission-driven companies.
Spoke to Talent acquisition and was set up with an interview for the next round with a manager for the following week. The interview went pretty well and was confident I would on to the next round. Instead I got ghosted and never heard back from them. Happy that thru true colors were shown as I would not want to work for a company who conducts themselves in this manner.
