I applied online. I interviewed at Origin Financial
Interview
Take home case interview to prepare a presentation and then given to a panel with time for questions. No curve balls. Standard product interview but cultural was really long and went through full career path.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Origin Financial (Seattle, WA) in May 2024
Interview
First round with recruiter and second round with sales VP. During second call with sales VP they said they would follow up with the next round call within a couple of days and then ended up just ghosting me.

Interview
After applying for the role, I was contacted by the recruiter to set up the first interview. The recruiter neglected to tell me that I'd be meeting with an advisor to the company. This wasn't too much of a big deal, as the person who interviewed me was extremely polite and engaging.
Unfortunately, that is where the positivity ends. The second interview was supposed to be a "cultural interview" with a heavy emphasis on my career, motivations, etc., but the interviewer spent more time "quizzing" me on other things. He would ask me questions but was visibly waiting for me to finish talking just so he could ask me another question. It made the interview rather uncomfortable because I sensed that there was little interest in what I had to say. I've been on many interviews, and very few companies have conducted "cultural interviews" with candidates. I suggest using these interviews properly (and as described to candidates).
