The entire recruiting process was extremely disorganized and disrespectful of candidates' time. I applied for a Technical Program Manager role in early September. After the first interview, I was told I was a "great fit" for the position and would be advanced to the next round. However, the promised follow-up deadline was immediately missed.
After I initiated a follow-up, the company gave me less than 24 hours' notice for a 1.5-hour meeting on a late Friday evening. I offered several alternative times and clearly stated I was unavailable for a specific week due to personal reasons. The company's response was to schedule a meeting during the exact three days I had told them I was unavailable.
Following that, there was no further communication until a generic rejection email arrived weeks later. The role was also re-advertised during this period. The entire process felt unprofessional and seemed to confirm the company's negative reputation.
