Typical HR screening first, and then 30 minute meeting with hiring manager to go over the role. She said she wanted to move fast and that I was the last of of the first round of interviews. She had 5 other candidates. The role was to manage card network relationships and I spent over 20 years at a card network. I was prepared with STAR scenarios. After 18 mins into the call she said "I know that we are out of time, so do you have any questions for me". I asked thought provoking questions about the role, and followed up with my experiences and how I could make a difference. We ended with the recruiter will be in touch....only to tell me that I wasn't moving on.
