First two rounds consisted of playing typical EV games with some capital (dice questions, cards, market making). Followed by take home assignment involving data science/ML. Then meet with researchers at optiver to discuss work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given 3 minutes, what would you buy here and how much would you allocate?
Did online OA then behavioural interview. The interviewer seemed more interested in feedback on previous events at Optiver I had attended and other firms I was interviewing at. Only asked 2 behavioural questions. Didn't make it to further rounds.
Friendly interviewer, intense online assessment. Online assessment covered probability questions on mostly expected values, and stochastic probability. There is a finite deadline to complete it. This is then continued with a behavioural interview if you pass, that can be booked online.

Can't disclose, study up on stochastic probability such as martingales, and expected values for random walks.
I applied online. I interviewed at Optiver (Chicago, IL)
Interview
5 rounds. OA - Gambling - Math - HR - Data Science. Unsure if process will be different. Generally starts with introduction then gets directly into the problem. Small hints are given if stuck.
