Interview
First interview stage was a half hour over Zoom. Before that, I had to do an assessment which took over three hours to complete. This included personality-based questions, mental arithmetic, mental probability, and miscellaneous games

Other than your hard qualifications, what soft skills are useful for this role?
Initial round of Optiver tests involving mini games, sequences and probability questions, followed by HR behavioral interview where I was asked about my motivations for joining the firm, reasoning for the role (i.e. trading vs research) and past problem-solving experiences.

Interview
The interview is a five-step procedure. The first one is an online assessment including mental math, neuro-assessment games, numerical reasoning, probability, and personality questionnaires. The second one is a behavioural interview. The third and fourth are technical interviews. and the final one is a behavioral interview. All are virtual.
