I've passed the OA and HR interview. I have to say HR in this company is fully arrogant and lack of respect. Really bad experience. If your answer don't meet their expected answer, you will get rejected. And they seems lack of preparation for the interview.
First round: Short computer games, personality test, mental math, and a few short answer competition math like problems
Second Round: Purely Behavioral Interview, no technical questions asked
Final Round: A series of technical interviews where you have to play different games and give optimal strategies
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You have to be able to reason about optimal strategies for different game setups quickly.
I applied online. I interviewed at Optiver in Aug 2022
Interview
The online assessment was intense. 80 mental math problems, 9 neural testing games, sequence patterns in 25 minutes, probability tests and personality tests. Then there would be a phone interview of behavioral questions, and then the final round which consists of mathematical/IQ tests. In average the questions were not super difficult but was pretty intense given the time limit.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Optiver in Jan 2022
Interview
30 min HR zoom interview, introduce yourself, ask about motivation, why is optivar, why is trader, how is your hobbies, any other offer. Hobby needs to show your competitive and enthusiasm
