This was many years ago, but the interview process was conversational. It was a little intimidating because the boardroom was in the basement, so it did feel a bit like an interrogation. Ha. But the interview itself was laid back and friendly with the then Director of Marketing and Communications team.
For the current Marketing and Communications Manager, I imagine the interview would be much more experience focused. Demonstrate that you're a strategic thinker, ask good questions and understand how your experience can plug into the needs of the role. You'll do best if you're someone who slows down and has a knack for details while still being creative. Operation Eyesight was a great place to work while I was there. If you do align with the mission, you're sure to become part of a great team.
