I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Opensignal (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
It was a good and smooth process. All interviewers were professional and warm.
I had 3 interviews in total (screening call plus two competency interviews). There was supposed to be a fourth interview (culture fit) but due to scheduling difficulties, they decided to extend an offer without this.

Question 1
How far did my experience with website management go?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Opensignal (Boston, MA) in Aug 2024
Interview
My experience interviewing with OpenSignal was outstanding. Sophie, the recruiter, initially reached out to me on LinkedIn. From that moment, the process was seamless and highly professional. She provided detailed instructions, shared insights about the individuals I’d be meeting (including their LinkedIn profiles), and offered valuable advice throughout. Her support and advocacy were instrumental, especially during the offer stage.
The interviews themselves were thoughtful and engaging, focusing on the company’s culture, the value OpenSignal provides to its customers, and how my skills and leadership experience aligned with their needs. I met with a variety of leaders, including the CTO, and the recurring theme across all discussions was the importance of investing in people and maturing processes, which really resonated with me.
From start to finish, the process took about 5–6 weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
If you’re considering applying to OpenSignal, I highly recommend working with Sophie—she’s fantastic!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Opensignal (Boston, MA) in Oct 2024
Interview
One of the most positive interview processes I've been through. I applied online with a referral and got a preliminary take-home Excel assessment. Once I cleared that, I had three rounds - one live SQL coding, one with two hiring managers and a final conversation with the VP. Everyone was so great to talk to and interviews were more conversational rather than grilling and intimidating. Very smooth coordination and encouraging feedback from recruiter - the whole process took about about a month from first round to offer.
