My experience with the recruiter interview was negative and raised several concerns about the company, even within a short interaction. First, the recruiter only provided time slots for the interview based on her local time in Europe, despite the role being based in the US and the company HQ is in CA. This resulted in options between 3 and 7 AM my time, which felt very inconsiderate. It gave me the impression that engineers in the US might be treated not good, especially with the fact that they once offshored majority (if not all all) of engineering positions to Poland (which means US engineers were laid off). Second, the interview itself felt very unprofessional. Most of the time was spent with the recruiter reading a long, scripted company introduction. Then she said that she didn’t have questions for me because everything is already on the resume. I got only a few very general questions that are not related anything particularly to my current role or experience. Without many questions been given, the interview felt very easy, nothing tricky at all, thus I didn't expect to receive a rejection email.
I have no idea how this company can hire decent engineers with this poor process.
