The initial screening call was via an agency.
During the first-round interview, the hiring manager's approach raised concerns. The conversation began with "non-negotiable" terms, which felt rigid and lacked openness to dialogue. This inflexibility left little room to discuss practical needs, such as adjusting working hours or changing days in the office.
The agency suggested that employees should "just take holiday" for personal matters (e.g., a home delivery, dentist) instead of offering flexibility to adjust office days. This attitude felt dismissive and lacked consideration for potential employees.
Although I was put through to the next stage of interview, I declined.
