      Senior Java Developer Interview

      17 May 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenCrowd (New York, NY) in Apr 2016

      Interview

The process is fairly organized, until the final interview. The initial in-person interview consisted of a "quiz" of three questions: FizzBuzz, ERD w/ SQL and Class Diagram. The interview process went downhill in my final technical interview, where the questions led into an awkward encounter with their lead engineer. It seemed he was more focused on downplaying my experience than in figuring out how I can contribute to the company as a software engineer.
