I found the position on Indeed.com and was directed to Open Mortgage's website to complete the application. You can either provide a mobile # or your email address to receive a code that needs to be entered to get into the career portal, and I experienced a glitch when entering my mobile # - the code was never received. However, if you enter your email address you are guaranteed to receive the code.
I applied in the beginning of October 2019, and within a week received an email from Logan Manning, Recruiting and Sales Support Specialist to setup an interview. I did my first interview with Logan, and my second interview 2 days later with the Branch Manager, Gene Dupuis.
Logan coordinated the entire interview and hiring process, and did a great job. He was very organized and response. Gene was just as organized and responsive. Once I received the offer from Gene, I was almost immediately contacted by my processing manager, who also didn't skip a beat - a day after talking with her she reached out for my information to book my trip to her office for training. And within the same day Gene had already ordered my workstation to make sure everything was ready to go on my first day.
In my opinion, it was one of the most organized interview and new hire on-boarding process I've ever experienced.
I have a few friends who work at Open Mortgage and they told me the entire operations at Open Mortgage is just as organized and efficient as what I experienced with the interview and hiring process.
It was very impressive, and I'm excited to join the team.
