the first interview went very well, they responded to set up a second round. waited for many days, and in the end, they responded the position is kept on hold suddenly after I emailed them. isn't it a general duty to inform back the candidate rather than ghosting for their days and taking their time in the first place when they are not sure about position openings? I wonder what if they had given me an offer and did the same thing after some days. shouldn't risk your career based on the false indications of the company. hope HR makes it very clear in advance when this is the situation. HR and the interviewer were polite but I'm not sure whose mistake it was. No comments on their employees.
