I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OneSchool Global (Bristol, England) in May 2023
Interview
A thorough process with a screening online interview first and then a full day. The screening focused on values and safeguarding. Full day involved an assembly, lesson observation, tour, presentation and interview with about six on the panel including governors.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at OneSchool Global (Kingston, ON) in Aug 2020
Interview
Long interview process— nearly two months from start to finish and three rounds of interview plus a site visit. Poor communication between interview rounds. Lots of time where you are left to wonder about if things are progressing. Checked references between interview two and three, then given a site visit. Low enthusiasm from interview panel.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First “interview” was more than 25 minutes of HR explaining their company, followed by 10 minutes of open time for me to introduce myself. Very unusual. During interview 2, was asked what I would do if I bought an IKEA bookshelf that was missing instructions. Really? The tricky question is you will he asked how comfortable you are working with a religious group of which you are not a member. Organization is run by Plymouth Bretheren Church exclusively for church kids, but all employees are allegedly outside of this church group, per HR. What they won’t tell you is that you are expected to conform to their dress code expectations, even during the interview. This was never disclosed in the interview process or in any of their web presence.
