Interview
Applied online to a company called OUI Marketing. Then received a phone call from “One Up Incorporated”……so they first hid their actual name so I couldn’t see these other ACCURATE negative reviews on Glassdoor. Then told me I would be having a one on one interview the day. They called 3 TIMES to make sure I was going to show up for the interview through zoom. Then….I show up and the hiring manager is 15 minutes late, so I call to ask what’s going on and they tell me the other interview ran a little long and she would hop on the call shortly. The hiring manager finally makes it onto the call and announces there are three of us interviewing in a group interview and she was late because she kept clicking the wrong zoom link….that’s now 3 LIES.
The hiring manager goes through and explains the job position…says everyone has to start from the bottom and sign people up on the street to get them free cell phones through t-mobile, then later on we will become a manger of the team……excuse me but the job listing speaks about being an account manager for marketing, not signing up people to get free cell phones provided by government funding.
This company uses lying and deception and manipulation to lure young adults who are just getting into the job market to gain experience and it is NOT OKAY. They should be transparent and up front and stop wasting people’s time and energy on this scummy interview process they obviously have been doing for years…makes me sick to think of how many unsuspecting kids and adults get pulled into this who have families to support of their own and they aren’t even told up front how crappy the pay and hours and job itself is, when the company tries to make it sound like you should be grateful for the opportunity.
HIGHLY DISLIKE COMPANIES LIKE THESE. NO HONOR AND NO HUMAN DECENCY. Which is ironic considering they are funded by the government to HELP low income families. Disgusting.

Interview
Scam under the smart circle group. Horrible working conditions beware. Interview process is over a cup of coffee done by an underpaid kid, hoping to recruit you to his/her team in hopes of running an office one day.

Interview
Interview was done online on zoom for pre-screening. However I don’t feel this company really cares about who they hire because the person besides me who did the interview had no idea what the company even did as a business and still moved on to the next stage.
