      Behavioral Scientist Interview

      20 Mar 2016

      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Omada Health (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2016

      Interview

This involved a screening phone call with the hiring manager (approximately one hour long). After a few days, I was contacted by the admin who scheduled a 1/2 day interview process. This started in the early afternoon and we wrapped up around 7pm. It included interviews with 5 team members (including the hiring manager). I then had 30 minutes to prepare a 30 minute presentation based on a case study regarding the product that had been given to me the day before the interview. It was altogether an enjoyable albeit rather stressful process given the lack of time to prepare for the case study. In retrospect, I should have asked for more time given that the case study was partially changed on me less than 15 hours before the interview started. My only gripe was that I had to reach out to them to get an answer about the job and this wasn't until over two weeks after the interview, even though they said they would take about a week to get back to me.

Thank you for writing about your experience. We’re glad to hear that your onsite interview was altogether enjoyable! We also appreciate your feedback about the things we could do better. We’ll be sure to let the hiring team know that you felt rushed in preparation for and during your interview. Moving forward, we will try to communicate interview-related changes in a timely manner and provide adequate time before candidates’ presentations. Lastly, we’re sorry that it took us longer than communicated to follow up on your in-person interview. We’ve noted your feedback and will strive to keep interviewees in the loop regarding changes in our timeline.
