Applied via ODU online system. Listing was removed shortly after and reposted a few weeks later. HR contacted me, informing me that the job listing was up once again. I reapplied and was called by the Director to schedule phone interview with herself and two other employees from other university departments, who are familiar with marketing communications.
After a month, I received an email to not only schedule an appointment with the Board, but to inform me of the budgeted salary for the position. While I was extremely interested in the role, I informed the Director that, unfortunately, such a salary was not what I had in mind, given my experience.
