Interview process consisted of a phone screen and a couple rounds of video-chat interviews using Zoom. The first round interviews were with multiple people, including the hiring manager, peers, and internal stakeholders, but spread across several days for scheduling reasons.
What I believe was the final round interview was a panel interview, still via Zoom. The panel interview required a homework assignment, digging into an Excel file provided by HR to understand the value offered by Okta's solutions to customers.
Note: The hiring manager was unresponsive to a few clarifying questions about how to use this Excel model.
For such a high-visibility role on the pre-sales team, it surprised me that the company would conduct a panel interview / presentation virtually, instead of flying the candidate to be face-to-face with at least one member of the hiring team. I lost interest in the role as a result.
