I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ofload (Sydney) in May 2025
Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple on-site rounds and a final HR round if the previous technical conversations go well, also on-site.
On the fist round, you meet a team member and are explained the role, the company and also have a small system design task.
The second round is more coding and technical, there is a system design component and a coding component.
There may be another technical interview after that, and the final interview is with HR where you are asked culture and fit, as well as conflict resolution, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The technical aspect was very normal. The coding part was on their computer, so if you are not used to windows keybindings/their IDE, you may have a hard time adjusting.
There were some syntax questions, optimization questions about the code itself too.
Some of the questions reminded me of early-2010s questions. Lots of attention to detail needed, like == vs = in an if statement.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ofload in Jul 2025
Interview
It was a short meeting around 15 mins. They asked some very general questions about PHP and Laravel, such as what versions you are woking on.
I think the CTO was in the meeting.
