Applied in June and had an interview in July with the Operations Manager. Before we started the interview she raved about how impressed she was by my resume and I was the exact fit they were looking for. They really made it seem I was going to get the role and next steps would be a breeze. Had a conversation with the CEO a few weeks after and then nothing. Literally was ghosted for weeks/months with no follow up. Advice: Maybe wait until the interview is over before putting up a candidate's hopes. Or have the decency to answer an email if you choose another candidate.
