Got an interview through a referral. On the first day, they didn't call me during the window I requested. Emailed them immediately to reschedule. With the reply, they said they tried calling me twice, with the calls going to voicemail (they did not). The interview was fine. When they sent the rejection email, they addressed me with the incorrect name.

First round was a basic job fit screening and opportunity to ask any questions I had about the company. Everything went well and at the end I asked for a time frame for next steps. Recruiter said everything was great and they would send over a calendar link to schedule the next interview with some of the support managers, no need to wait for a follow up. HOWEVER 10 days passed, and no such email ever came through. I attempted at follow up, compete radio silence. So they either just flat out lied to me in the interview process, or the company has no problem ghosting applicants and wasting your time.

The phone screening process was quick but it was a zoom meeting with the camera on, asking a few questions then introducing the company and the role. Being well prepared for the shoelaces problem will be good.
