Worst interview experience. I could tell the interviewer had me rejected from 'good morning' for no apparent reason. HR lady seemed completely detached with no real interest in finding out about my experience. The interview lasted around 20 mins and involved only one question: "take me through your work experience". It was obvious I was left in 'mute mode' while I went on for 15 mins - with no interruption for questions in between - describing my work experience. In the very end the HR manager told me that I should hear from them the following week but warned me that there was a very high number of applicants. On Monday I got an email explaining they wouldn't proceed with my application not containing any sort of constructive feedback. Funny enough I was approached by a recruiter the other day wishing to discuss the exact same position. Taken that this was a role the company was recruiting for 8 months ago (!) I take that they either still haven't found their ideal candidate or whoever they have recruited is running for the hills. The job description states as number one qualification that the candidate 'Must possess lots of IQ points'. Would I ever want to work for a company that addresses potential candidates in such manner? Of course not. It doesn't seem very promising coming to culture and values. Stay clear!
