There were many steps involved. I applied online, had a phone interview with HR, another phone interview with one of the nurses on the unit, a shadow shift, and finally an in-person interview with the unit manager. I was told she would be making a hiring decision by the following Wednesday, and I should hear back by Friday. I received a call from HR the Tuesday before, but I missed the call. Tried to return the call for 3 weeks. Tried contacting the unit manager as well. Finally got ahold of the manager only to be told that I was still in the running, but they were continuing to interview. The recruiter called me the Monday after, which by then had been 3 weeks since her initial call, and said the job was filled.
Recruiter connection followed by a shadow shift the after the shift I had an official interview with department head and operations coordinator. Total of ten questions and recruiter followed up next day with an offer
