I interviewed for the Product Designer role and went through three rounds (two online, one onsite). In all stages, I was asked largely the same questions about my experience, favorite project, and design process, with little progression between rounds.
In the final interview, I was told they were looking for someone with ERP or complex systems experience and that my work felt “basic.” This requirement could have been clarified earlier, as my portfolio and background were shared from the start.
The team was professional, but the process could be more structured and aligned to avoid repeating discussions and to respect candidates’ time.
