The interview process was really smooth. The interviews were technically challenging but the interviewers were actively listening and trying to make you give the best version of you. Everyone I met in the interview process was really smart and kind.

The interview process had 6 parts: 1/ a screen phone call with a recruiter to talk about motivations, discuss the role and set anchors for the compensation 2/ a tech phone call with the team, to discuss specifics of the position, describe my experience and ask more technical questions 3/ a kaggle-like challenge, that I needed to complete in 10 hours (but I was given it for a week). You are not really judged on the result on the leaderboard, but really on the quality of your code, your ideas for improvement, and the questions you asked yourself, and I really felt that because my submission was just above the baseline and far from the top of the leaderboard. 4/ a 1-hour discussion with the tech team on your code and your ideas for improvement 5/ a 45-minute presentation of some work you did (not necessarily related to the position) and 15 minutes of questions 6/ an interview with a science VP to discuss core motivations and ask questions about the company Overall I felt really valued as a candidate during the interview process, and I know I had the chance to showcase my skills fairly. I also had a really good connection with the team, and the recruiter.
