Low pay and unprofessional. This review will focus on the pay rate. I have a bachelors degree and almost 3 years of “corporate experience”. I believe this is low pay for a role that requires a bachelor’s degree with industry experience in the NYC area. Even though I did not have industry experience, I was invited to have an interview. I applied for this job and on the application completed the salary requirements field. I received an email for a phone interview invite. The phone interview was with a recruiting coordinator. The recruiter asked standard questions. We spoke about salary requirements, the recruiter asked what are my salary expectations, even though this was mentioned on my application. When I provided my salary requirements, AGAIN, the recruiter came back with a salary of 55K-60K (which is lower than I required) and that is tied with someone with a bachelors degree with industry experience. I submitted my application with salary requirements. If the company does not agree with my salary requirements and we are nowhere near the middle, why would you bother to give me a call? If the company is offering 55K-60K with industry experience, I assume a candidate with no experience would be offered a salary in the high 40K. I believe the salary is low for someone with a bachelors and no industry experience for the NYC area. Also, on the company’s ‘About Us’ section, they mentioned and I quote “Our atmosphere nurtures success, and you will notice that our people move faster, work harder and are better rewarded than our competition.” I believe their people will move faster and work harder but will not be better rewarded than their competition.” With that being said, If the salary offer is higher than the competition, I praise them for being transparent. If this salary is average or lower, OEC should update this section.

First HR arranged a phone call interview. A week later, I had a virtual interview with three managers in the pricing team and received an offer the week after. Overall, the entire interview process was very smooth and the managers in the pricing team were very nice and chill. Very good experience with the HR and the hiring process.
