I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OEC Group (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied for the position online and received a response within a week. I received an email requesting to set up a phone interview so I scheduled it for the end of the week. I was a little nervous for the phone interview, but the woman I spoke with was personable and made it easy to explain my reasons for applying and my interests at OEC. The phone interview went well and I am scheduled for an on-site interview next week.

Question 1
I recommend to do some research on the company, and to be familiar with the position you are applying for.
I applied online. I interviewed at OEC Group (Cerritos, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
First round was a phone interview. Despite seeing my resume beforehand, they were strangely focused on the fact that I did not have logistics experience prior and seemed to stay focused on that for the duration of the interview (and the call did not end shortly after they reconfirmed I did not have the experience for this entry level position). Not sure why they had arranged the call if it wasn't to gauge my work ethic since experience was clearly not a determining factor, it felt like a waste of time and an extreme turnoff. Fortunately, they had ghosted me afterwards anyway.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked extremely specific hypothetical questions that required industry knowledge but per my description of the interview process, it seemed unnecessary.
We apologize for your negative experience. Our goal is to provide a positive interview that focuses on skills and character, rather than only logistics experience. However, we do assess the candidate's knowledge of our industry and services. We wish you the best of luck in your career!
