Phone interview with hr, BA, software architect and devops engineer. Everything was fine until they gave a coding task on the interview itself ( neither the job ad, nor the HR advised that this will be part of the interview). Although I offered to make the task as a ‘homework’ (it was not an automation coding task, but pure developer one), they rejected. Although QA nowadays is required to know code basics it is really stupid idea, qas to be expected to behave as software engineers on interviews.
