I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nutanix (Eranakulam) in Aug 2016
Interview
first-coding round
second-technical round(focused on DSA)
third-technical round(general)
fourth-HR
The interview was very comfortable with the Nutanix people supporting us even giving tips for our career.
They were checking how deep our knowledge is on the CS subjects.
I've read some reviews that they were more interested in giving us internship offers rather than
jon offer but the truth is that they wanted to see how we work that's why internship offers are given but internship offer means 75% job assured.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First round was based on our solution we submitted during first round and some classic DSA questions but the following round was on the knowledge of subjects.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nutanix (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Jan 2022
Interview
There are four technical interviews, with four different people, all are passed fine, every one of those consists of two parts, one is programming task in pseudo-code and another is a real assignment in that filed.
And also, the first interview was with a Talent Advisor, and it was really great way to hear from him about that position, technologies they are using for and all other things.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q1: programming task in pseudo-code
Q2: a real task for testing something about VMs, host and scheduling
I applied online. I interviewed at Nutanix (San Jose, CA) in Jul 2017
Interview
This was a Hard Interview. Was asked questions on data structure implementation and algorithms. No questions related to domain or past QA experience were asked, to start off with. No information was provided by interviewer on what the role/product this is for. Just jumped straight into a coding question.
Very Bad interview process. QA interviewers dont know much about automation at Nutanix India. So, they expect you to code in their way of thinking, we cant code in our style, if we do, we are rejected . For eg: a interviewer didn't know negative index exists in Python, when i used it in my code, he kept on saying its not correct.
Interview questions are not generic, they ask questions for which they know the answer, and not what is written in resume.
Interviewers are very arrogant, they criticize other products during interview. Infact, they criticized the product I am working on , saying its not so famous and other things on features.
Interviewers think nutanix is the best in industry without knowing that there are other companies which are doing better than them. Interviewers please open your eyes and look out, don't be a frog in the well
