The process was 5-6 rounds of interviews. The first interview was a technical round and then an on-site interview for the whole day that took 4-5 hours with breaks. Overall, good experience with the interviews.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Nuro (Mountain View, CA) in Jul 2019
Interview
The interview process was fair and challenging. All the questions asked were relevant to the role. The questions became increasingly more difficult near the end.
The hiring process could be better. The recruiter initially did not follow up with me after the on-site. I had to ping her many times to try and get an update.
first one is HR phone call, second one is with Manager video interview and the third one should be with a engineer in the group. 3 interviews are in one week.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nuro (Mountain View, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Was very straight forward.
Reached out to the recruiter over linkedIn with the positions you are interested in .
She took a week to get back and set up a 30 min Recruiter round.
Then after clearing that round was moved to a 45 min
technical interview with an immediate team member which went on for 1 hour .
The feedback was positive and was asked to share my availability for a power day interview with 6 people (45 min each ). Due to COVID restrictions all these rounds were in zoom/google meet.
These rounds were with Technical/Domain expert , Hiring manager , Supply chain manager , electronics and electrical engineer , Vehicle integration expert and closing with the Recruiter round.
Questions were very specific to the role and it’s interaction with all the above aggregate heads/owners. They were related to subject only and revolved around the roles and responsibilities.
