I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Denver, CO) in May 2012
Interview
It was a multi-step interview process, meeting different people throughout their organization and personality tests assigned. They will want to now how connected you are to the community or the universities you would be recruiting from for them. Be sure to ask the interviewers how they got to the company and be sure to do your research on the company as a whole but also the organization you are interviewing with-each officer has their own mission and values!
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
I was reached out to via LinkedIn. Directors asked me to meet for lunch somewhere a few times. I ended up just going in to the office for the interview. About 5 interviews later and 10 hours of homework I ended up letting them know I was not going to do any more homework and they can either offer me the position or move on.

All the interviews took place via Zoom. I had two group interviews with different people on the leadership team and they each asked a round of questions. Some were business related some were about you as a person.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Minneapolis, MN) in Mar 2020
Interview
Very friendly and engaging. I felt like I was talking to an actual human behind the phone vs a stuffy corporate official. I felt at home. Informative and thorough, and I very much felt prepared for the job through the interview process.
