Three weeks after applying I went through a phone screening and ten days after that: a final 4 hour Zoom interview. The most disappointing part of this process was that I was ghosted after the final interview. I did not receive an offer, nor an email from HR stating that I was no longer in consideration. I reached out to 3 different people (one being the HR rep I spoke to for the phone interview) after a respectable amount of time and heard nothing. I sent individual thank you notes and followed up with the Dean three weeks later and never heard back. I would have expected more professionalism from Northeastern University. It's inconsiderate to the candidate who is just trying to gain closure and/or plan their possible next steps to their career.
