The initial contact process was pretty smooth. Phone call to initiate/confirm/schedule a one-way interview which, in my opinion, sort of sucks as a concept, but I get it. The questions were very basic like introducing yourself, your skill set, why you would be a good fit for the area, etc. I did that a day or so later and then it was radio silent for over a month. Then an automated rejection/"role has been" filled email. I had emailed for an general update on the role a few weeks before that final rejection email but received a bare-bones "I don't know, not my job to find out" reply.
