I had an underwhelming experience with the recruitment process at this company, primarily due to a lack of effective communication. The process began when a recruiter called me and left a voicemail. I promptly returned the call on the same day, but unfortunately, I was unable to reach her and had to leave a voicemail. After that, I had to make a second attempt to get in touch with her, which took four days for her to respond. When we finally connected, the conversation was disappointing. The recruiter posed what seemed like trick questions, which was a bit perplexing and unexpected. Subsequently, despite the initial contact, I never received any follow-up communication from the company, leaving me feeling ghosted. Effective and transparent communication is vital in any recruitment process, and it's disappointing to experience such a lack of responsiveness and clarity. I believe that companies should ensure that candidates receive timely and respectful feedback, even if they are not selected for a role, in order to maintain a positive candidate experience.
