      Product Manager Interview

      2 May 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Burbank, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Nickelodeon (Burbank, CA)

      Interview

The process went phone interview with a recruiter, phone interview with the hiring manager, onsite with the team. The hiring manager sat across a long conference table from me (I mean all the way at the other end), spent the majority of the interview talking about himself, never looked me in the eye, and only asked me one general question about my opinion of the industry and nothing job specific. I got the sense he really had no interest in hiring me, and maybe was obligated to interview at least one woman. Everyone else was warm and engaging. At the end the hiring manager asked the only woman to interview me whether she had been nice or a B.

      Project Manager Interview

      15 Feb 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nickelodeon (New York, NY) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Multiple interviews through actual management. Ontacts within the organization yielded many years of in person interviews and lots of positive feedback but no offers. Eventually I was also put in direct contact with people within HR who knew my history and close ties with people in Nick, but again, they were little to no help and eventually stopped responding to emails. A shame because I was extremely qualified, and have a passion for their business and the audience. Maybe I'm the exception to their process but it just seemed like I was jerked around for years and all the effort was a waste of my time.
