phone screen interview followed by 6 skype interviews (circa 30-60 mins each) over the 3 different rounds. At the end of a +3 months process, various emails and 5-6 Skype interviews, I was never provided clear information about where I was in the process, next steps. But the worse part was not being provided a constructive feedback on why I was rejected. Usually, it's standard practice after such a long process and various rounds of interviews to provide at least a basic feedback or explanation about what worked and what did not work in the process. Call it "courtesy", call it standard practice, call it transparency...Niantic's HR team did not provide any context other than saying "we found the perfect candidate". I found that quite naive, unprofessional and very unhelpful after dedicating at least 15-20 hours overall into the process. No hard feelings as still believe it's a great company making very cool things...certainly HR team seemed a bit understaffed and not very experienced/empathic with the candidates.
