The first interview came after an online app, I got a call from someone on speakerphone, and discussed the position for 5-10 minutes. I got a call back a couple of hours later (not on speakerphone, this time) with an invitation to a second interview. The second interview was mixed. On the one hand, the building and the waiting area are nice, I had a nice chat with another applicant. But when my interviewer came out, he could not have seemed to have been more disinterested. He gave me the impression that he was tired or something, not feeling well, distracted, like being there was keeping him from somewhere else he'd rather have been. It was weird. Of course, he didn't have any information on me (just walked up empty-handed, took me to a small interview room, and proceeded to disinterestedly ask three incredibly milktoast questions). I gave him my resume. I felt a little guilty, because it was obvious that interviewing me was not he wanted to be doing (don't ask me why). I got an email a couple of days later, unsurprisingly, "thanks, but...".
