Interview
I applied online. I had an initial screen with the recruiter. Told me the process was talk with hiring manager, liive case analysis, talk with a panel of colleagues. Need working experience in Africa. Turnarround is very quick.

Interview
How many hoops does one need to jump through in order to land an offer at this company?
Apparently, it's not enough to sink in over 15 hours of preparation to do 1 phone screen, 1 video interview, a week-long homework assignment, 2 video panels, and a last Q&A for the hiring manager to offer you a position over the phone.
The email confirming a final and brief phone call, which was for rejection, was very misleading, and they asked if I had any questions for their process. No, I didn't prepare for a rejection over the phone. Why do employers think that it is a great idea to do so?
It could have been an email, thanks...
That way I can process the rejection in private and not be caught off guard over a phone call. The feedback was also disappointing and vague, saying I didn't have enough experience. You'd think they would have figured that out by the 2nd conversation I had with them? What a waste of time...

What is the largest and smallest scale evaluation projects you have done?
How do you know when you've collected enough data?
I'm sorry to hear about your candidate experience, thanks for your feedback. I would like to learn more about the challenges within our interview process so we can improve going forward, and would be happy to have a call to further discuss.

Interview
I had a video interview and was incredibly underwhelmed. They could not tell me why good talent should work here, and frankly their company pitch needed vast improvement. If the person on the other end shows little enthusiasm or excitement, how am I supposed to feel excited continuing on in the process, without a sense of what the company is like, its mission and vision?
I was invited to a second interview which I hesitated, but decided to proceed and that was even more bizarre. I could tell this interviewer needed training and perhaps access to structured interview questions would have helped. Both interviewers kept emphasizing that they hire introverts, and both needed lessons on language around inclusivity. Safe to say I had no interest in continuing following this second round.
